No one is entitled to their own opinion. In the past, many of us have been told that we are entitled to our opinion but turns out that's not true at all. Turns out we're only entitled to what we can argue for which is really surprising. We often use "I'm entitled to my opinion" to tell others what we belief or think about something/someone. Since everyone has different opinions, it can cause things to go wrong and it can cause some misunderstanding. There is no law stating that others must sit there and listen to your opinion and this makes you not entitled to your opinion. I guess I can personally say that I've been living a lie for the longest time. I used to think that I was entitled to my opinion but I guess that just happens to be a lie that I'm barely finding out about today. It's important for EVERYONE to know that they're not actually entitled to their opinion because it can save from making a fool of themselves in front of people.

Today we were discussing about love : We all hope to have someone special be a part of our lives  We want that special someone to always be there to support us Love is something that everyone has experienced or is going to someday Normally love is the first emotion we encounter There are some people who are afraid of loving because they've had their heart broken Love tends to make someone vulnerable Sometimes extreme desire can lead people to fantasying about relationships that are never going to happen Love is an emotion that makes us all human It's not love after someone has cheated on you 

The element that is constantly being seen in this story is Pathos since there are many people who will read this article. This means that everyone will have different opinions on the article and this can actually end up confusing the readers of what the author is trying to express. This article can end up making the readers have mix emotions on whether they agree or not with the making of self driving cars and what they are capable of doing. Besides Pathos being the main element used in the article, I would say Kairos is the next big element. Today self-driving cars are trending more than they were before since the technology is more advanced now.

As I read the article on the ethics of self-driving cars, the elements of ethos, pathos, logos, and kairos that jumped out at me were : Ethos - Diana Divecha, she has a PhD in physiology. Johannes Himmelreich, he's a philosopher who works with engineers at Stanford's Center for Automotive Research Pathos - The way bullying is expressed and who are the ones who usually get bullied. Johannes seems more easygoing towards self-driving cars Logos - Johannes speaks about the one person getting killed by a self-driving vehicle  Karios - Due to how advanced technology is right now, self-driving cars seem to be really in right now I think that these elements make the reader understand more about the topic (self-driving cars). Ethos informs the reader about the person who wrote the article and pathos helps the reader understand how passionate the author is about writing. While logos gives the reader some evidence/stats to show the reader that what he/she is talki...

There are many reasons why it's important to get to know the people around you.  We get to learn more about each other The people around us challenge us to want to become a better person They become good resources (we can count on them) Share ideas/strategies They listen to what we have to say Motivation Getting along with your classmates is better than having zero connection with them Help us understand things we don't quite understand Today's experience helped us communicate with everyone in the class, which we wouldn't normally do. This got us to get up and move around the classroom. Since we had to walk around and look for someone who we thought 'the fact' belonged to, we actually got to learn something about that person. 

Reading this article helped me understand some of the methods out in the world that can actually help us remember things. For instance, something that stood out to me was the way to remember numbers. The writer says that " Phone numbers, for example, come pre-chunked. We don’t write, or recite, phone numbers as a single digit. 3419108550 is more manageable when written, or recited, as 341-910-8550." This is surprising because most of us don't actually think about this when it comes to numbers, specifically phone numbers. This is a certain to remember people's phone numbers and avoid constantly asking again and again. The overall point of the article is to remind that we don't have to be the smartest person or have the best memory to remember things.
