  • His words are so well rehearsed 
  • He's so pitch perfect and seems to be unbelievable
  • Olfactory - sense of smell
  • Talks about the people at the party (how much money they had, how they were famous simply makes the story you're telling more interesting)
  • Gatsby thinks Jordan Baker would never do anything wasn't alright but he doesn't know she cheated during a game of golf
  • Gatsby knows the guy who was behind the World Series disaster (taking gamblers money) 
  • Gatsby has been next to dead people, he's a very mysterious man
  • Gatsby and Daisy were once in love before she met Tom
  • Tom's been cheating on Daisy since they got back from the honeymoon
  • "Gatsby bought that house so that Daisy would be just across the bay."
