Notes and Thoughts on Gatsby

When Nick comes home from his date with Jordan and is surprised to see all the lights at Gatsby's house  Nick knows that Gatsby is just trying to get him to agree to him having Daisy over for tea when he's inviting him to places Gatsby is somewhat bribing Nick into helping him plan everything and when he does he tries to offer his services to him (he can get someone to cut his grass) Although Nick gets sort of offended because Gatsby is trying to arrange things, he still decides to call Daisy Gatsby knows that when him and Daisy meet again, things will not be how they once were in Louisville Gatsby worries that Daisy isn't going to show up but she soon does When they're in Nick's living room they don't speak a word and they are unsure whether either of them are happy to see each other I mean I would feel the same if I hadn't seen someone in such a long time. I mean you're simply not sure if things are going to the be the same way they once were
