First Impression of a Dream

After I finished reading "Dream Within a Dream" I had to go back to reread it again because I didn't fully understand it after just reading it once. Something that stuck out to me was his choice of words and how his life has just been a dream. I feel like I can relate to this because there are moments in my life where everything seems to be so real but it turns out it was just all part of a dream. This is honestly the worst feeling because you actually want everything in your dream to be real and it's a disappointment when things don't go that way.

For the Win

Something that I have done really well in this course is my journals. There are times where I work good and take my time to think of the topic we're writing about that day and I think deeply but there are also times where I space out and do nothing. I make up the work I don't do in class at home because it's harder for me to concentrate in this class than at home since mostly everyone in this class is always talking. Communication Strategies of a Hacker

The Mentor's is repeating the word kids through out the story and he chose to use this word instead of using children, which is a more formal word. The Mentor's tone makes him seem like he is annoyed with what is going on since he keeps using the word damn. The author seems annoyed with the way teachers do things such as if they don't see that you showed your work, you won't get credit and he seems tired of hearing the same things over and over again. The words the mentor decides to use show how inclusive he is because he varies the words he uses instead of simply sticking to the same phrases/words.
