INVESTING IN ME
How am I going to start fundraising for my life after high school?
So far, I haven't found a job but I honestly want to start working because I'm tired of my parents just giving me money. They give me money for doing chores, when in reality this is something that I'm going to be doing once I move out and go to college. I've looked for some jobs online but I'm kind of scared of applying since it's going to be my first time working. And I know that if I never start working then I'm never going to learn anything. Not only that but I'm also not going to have money to pay for anything, which means that I probably won't go to a university. I know that if I don't work anywhere then I'm never going to have any experience and I'll probably end up being a lazy person living with her parents. I get that it's important to work and earn your own money but it could be challenging for those who are shy. I guess we have to learn that working and getting out of your comfort zone is part of life and sooner or later we're going to have to get used to it. I'm going to continue to keep looking for jobs that actually interest me and I'm going to start applying. I recently found out that there's this trip in June 2021 to Europe and I really want to go but I don't want to make my parents pay for it. I feel like working at this age is preparing us for our lives in the future, where we're going to have to work for things because they're not going to keep getting handed to us.
